Essex Hearing Aids was started in 1971 with the intention of creating a practice that would combine the best of hearing healthcare with the benefits of an independent practice.

With over 20 years of clinical experience, Paul Gurney's practice follows the philosophy that hearing therapy is most successful when people are treated as individuals. This is a standard that is being followed with the introduction of his stepson, Andrew, into the practice.

Standards
As Registered Hearing Aid Dispensers (RHAD), Paul and Andrew are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), which ensures that they meet the stringent national standards.

They attend regular training sessions all over the UK to ensure that they are completely up to date with the very latest products and procedures.

Independent
Essex Hearing Aids remains completely independent from any single manufacturer. This means our customers can always be certain that the advice and products provided are truly what's best for them, rather than what we are contractually obliged to sell.

Service
Finally, we pride ourselves on our professional and friendly service that includes free, comprehensive hearing tests, expert fitting and excellent aftercare.
